Today was the Official hometown event celebration honoring one of Seat Pleasant’s very own, NBA Star Kevin Durant! The community welcomed him home and celebrated his extraordinary win as a 2017 NBA Champion with the Golden State Warriors and receiving the Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award.
The Seat Pleasant City Council and Mayor Eugene W. Grant invited the community to join the all-day event with a Kevin Durant Day Parade. The event featured national and local recording artists and celebrities, prominent business leaders and thousands of people from around the country.
