In the news...
Hey Papi Promotions Network business partner Thirst No More Corporation (TNMC) makes the news with feeding the hungry in Nepal, located in South Asia during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Recently Thirst No More Corporation has focused its attention on the rural regions of Nepal. We received word from our contact, Executive Director of Himalayan Tribal Community Development Nepal’s Raju Bhitrakoti of a desperate need for food for the community. The main food staples are rice and lentils and both are much needed to sustain life during the recent pandemic that has affected our world.
In late April 2020, Thirst No More Corporation mounted a campaign to generate funding providing nutrition to the rural areas in the Himalayas. As of May 15, 2020, a total of $1,005 was raised via Facebook donations ($60), website online contributions ($845), and another $100 from crowd-funding source Chuffed out of Australia. So far, $845 has already been used for the purchase of food, with the remaining $160 to be distributed once funds are allocated to Thirst No More Corporation from Facebook and Chuffed.
The generosity of our donors is crucial for Thirst No More Corporation to address the nutritional needs of our friends in Nepal. Through these gifts, we have been able to distribute the following items: (1) 25 kilos of rice, 2 kilos of lentils, 1 liter of cooking oil, and 1 kilo of salt per family. These items will take care of an averaged size family for 1 month.
You can continue supporting these needy families with nutrition by sending your tax-deductible gifts through https://www.thirstnomorecorp.org/donate We will assure that our global neighbors will continue to have food on their tables throughout this pandemic.
Thank you for your support!
