On behalf of the SHABACH! Ministries, Inc. (SMI) Board of Directors, I invite you to join SMI and First Baptist Church of Glenarden as an employment partner for the SHABACH! Career & Opportunity Fair. The event will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden Ministry Center, located at 3600 Brightseat Road, Landover, MD. Our theme is “Educate – Engage – Empower.”
SMI anticipates hundreds of attendees from across Prince George’s County and the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. Many students, parents, families, entrepreneurs and corporate representatives will be interested in absorbing information about the different products and services that our exhibitors have to offer. Participation in our Career & Opportunity Fair affords your company the ability to meet face to face with your target audience, as well as the opportunity to reach a new pool of potential employees, students or families that you may not have reached through general marketing avenues.
As the 501(c) (3) organization of First Baptist Church of Glenarden, SMI’s mission is to empower people to develop dynamic communities by meeting their needs, giving them hope and teaching them to soar. Since 1996, SMI has served the community through innovative education and community-based programs. Nearly 250 people each year benefit from our Adult and Youth Employment programs. Our Career & Opportunity Fair is an excellent venue for your organization to help our efforts to fulfill the needs of Prince George’s County residents, while also showcasing your organization’s products and services.
If you have open positions and/or would like to partner with us for the SHABACH! Career & Opportunity Fair, please visit website at www.smionline.org for Registration Forms. For those interested, space will also be available to conduct interviews onsite. The signed SMI Vendor Registration Form should be sent to Mrs. Elisa Gilmore at the email address below no later than Wednesday, March 13, 2019.
If you have any questions regarding your organization’s participation, please feel free to contact Mrs. Gilmore directly at 240-532-7006 or via email at egilmore@smionline.org. We look forward to seeing you at what is sure to be one of our most beneficial events to date. Share the news with family and friends!
