Prince George's County Drug Policy Coalition, Inc.'s (PGCDPC) 7th Annual Empowering Future Leaders Scholarship Breakfast


The Prince George's County Drug Policy Coalition, Inc.'s (PGCDPC) 7th Annual Empowering Future Leaders Scholarship Breakfast will take place on Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Harborside Hotel in Oxon Hill, Maryland. PGCDPC will award scholarships to students in Council District 8. The students who received these scholarships had to reside in Prince George's County, Maryland District 8 (Camp Springs, Clinton, Forest Heights, Fort Washington, Glassmanor, Marlow Heights, Oxon Hill). Over the past six years The Prince George's County Drug Policy Coalition, Inc. has given over $100,000.00 in scholarships to students, making a tremendous difference in the lives of the youth in Prince George’s County.

This year Words of Encouragement will be given by Dr. Jean-Paul Cadet, Principal of Oxon Hill High School. Special guest speaker and awards presenter will be Jacqueline Griffin, Mother of NFL Quarterback RG3 and Motivational Speaker. The Mistress of Ceremony will be Ms. Ebony N. McMorris National News Correspondent for Reach Media, Radio One.
