On March 15, 2018, the Maryland Commission for Women and the Women Legislators of the Maryland General Assembly inducted five women into the Maryland Women’s Hall of Fame. They also presented “Women of Tomorrow” awards to five students during the ceremony at the Miller Senate Office Building in Annapolis. One of the women being inducted to the Maryland Women’s Hall of Fame was our very own Dr. Hattie N. Washington. She was nominated by Dr. Valencia Campbell, President, Prince George's County Drug Policy Coalition, Inc.
