The Birth Of Christ: Luke 2:11
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

Today all over America and the world believers are pausing to celebrate the birth
of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The birth of Christ is prophecy being fulfilled as He was prophesied many years before He was born of the Virgin Mary who like her husband Joseph was of the linage of David. Here again fulfilling the Davidic covenant that King David's linage would last forever-the everlasting covenant.

With the much expected birth of Christ the wise men traveled a great distance to
see and worship the baby Jesus. They were guided by a star that directed them to where Jesus was. The shepherds abiding in the field tending their flock traveled to see the King after being told of His birth by the heavenly angels. The heavenly choir began to sing praises unto the baby Jesus.

These questions come to mind, how far are you willing to travel to worship the
birth of our Lord? What symbolic gifts will you bring for Jesus in commemoration of the greatest gift every given? Will your gift be given in love as was the Father's gift to humanity?

It is noteworthy to say Christmas is the most revered holiday in human history as it celebrates the birth of Christ; without Christ there would be no Christmas. It is also worth noting that each letter in Christmas points to the sovereign Christ.

Christ our anointed Messiah.
