Garment of Praise Ministries is dedicated to preparing the Body of Christ for their purpose and destiny.  We are focused on helping God’s people be delivered and set free and to discover and develop their spiritual gifts.  Our purpose is to teach sound doctrine according to the Word of God.
Our vision is to:
To reach the lost, the hurt and broken-hearted with a commitment to healing the broken family;
To help people experience the love, power, and presence of God and to provoke them into an intimate relationship with Him, and;
To balance people in Christ — spiritually and mentally, so that they can walk in the abundance of life.

Family Strong Experience

You're invited to the Family Strong Experience, hosted by the Prince George’s States Attorney’s Office (SAO) - a night of education, healing and music aimed at raising awareness of the increase in family violence over the last 18 months.  Last year, Prince George’s County experienced 19 domestic-related homicides, which included the death of seven children ages 3 and under.  This event will focus on the many underlying issues that can lead to family violence such as financial stress, infidelity and many others; along with the impact of mental health on our families.

SAO has partnered with the faith-based community, business entities, and non-profit organizations to be proactive in addressing the underlying issues that perpetuate negative behaviors.

Renowned gospel singer Richard Smallwood, will be performing.  Our speakers will include NFL Hall of Famer Charles Haley, who will share his struggles with mental health issues and the impact on his family and career; Dr. Jasmin "Dr. Jazz" Sculark.

Dem Raider Boyz and The Lady Raiders steppers will be providing entertainment through their unique and exciting stepping.

Resources and other support providers will be available on-site.

We are expecting over 4000 attendees.

DOORS OPEN at 4pm. FREE Event!!!
