We are pleased to announce the launch of our NEW global family-friendly Christian social media network website! After months of hard work and dedication, we are delighted to officially announce the launch. The site now has a new responsive web design that makes web pages render well on a variety of devices (smartphone, iPad, tablet) and desktop windows or screen sizes including a Smart TV. 

Our goal with this new website is to provide our visitors and members with an easier way to learn about our services, free resources, and allow members to support each other through online conversation and event-based networking, etc.

The new website is interactive and gives better access to new features like; Events including Zoom meetings, Profile Page Design (adding a Bio, Service, Website, etc.) + Blogs/News/PSAs + Celebrity Highlights + Bookstore + Music Store + Chat Room + Prayer Room + Job Board + Videos + Partners/Sponsors + Scholarships & Grants + More... 

Amongst the new features, the site contains integrated social media buttons for Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin to foster improved communication with external social media platforms. Members can now post their content in categories of Blogs, Articles, News, Press Releases, Classifieds, or Public Service Announcements to help the Media and Journalists identify what they need to publish, etc.

Crossland High School Dance Company, students, staff, and Wanda's Hope Klozet organization hosted a "Pull-up and Pop The Trunk Turkey Giveaway" to feed local residents in Temple Hills, Maryland.

TEMPLE HILLS, M.D., December 30, 2020 - Prince George's County Public School's Crossland High School Dance Company, students, staff, and Wanda's Hope Klozet organization hosted a "Pull-up and Pop The Trunk Turkey Giveaway" on Monday, December 21, 2020, at Crossland High School in Temple Hills, Maryland.  Wanda's Hope Klozet members and community partners, Mr. Kenneth Brown of Ebenezer AME Church, Ms. Charlita Proctor of G.S. Proctor and Associates, Inc., and Mr. Walter James from Prince George's County Community Relations office assisted with resources and support for this successful community service event.  So many local families have been significantly impacted by the school and government closures related to COVID-19 and Wanda's Hope Klozet and partners were able to give away over 100 turkeys and PPE packages to the public as they drove through the parking lot. Principal Michael Gilchrist, Wanda J. Knotts, students, and staff helped children and families as they navigate through today's life challenges and hardships during this holiday season. Here are some highlights from the community service event that you can share with family and friends!

Having experienced the loss of my home and business due to hurricane Katrina, I truly understand the challenges of rebuilding one’s entire life after a devastation. I have a strong desire to connect communities to proper resources to restore Hope so families can thrive. This is why this event was so important to me, says Wanda J. Knotts.

“We aim to become the global organization providing goods and services to people in need, within an environment of respect and dignity. We are of the belief that together, we have a responsibility to care for those who are suffering because of disparities and inequities so that everyone can benefit from basic life needs,” says Danielle Manning-Halsey, Board Chair of Wanda’s Hope Klozet.

Stephen has been so inspired by people who are still making time to give back to their communities, even with everything going on right now. He decided to team up with his friends at Rakuten to pay it forward and surprise a deserving few with a little joy of their own. 

In this episode, we learn about Angelica who is a hard working volunteer at Homies Empowerment, a youth and community development organization based in Oakland. Like many, she has been personally affected by the pandemic, yet she still selflessly shows up to volunteer almost every day of the week!
